Job Title: Certified Paramedic
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Paramedic to join our team at Bryan County. As a key member of our Department of Emergency Services, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and assistance to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency scenes to provide basic and advanced life support care
- Operate or ride on ambulances in response to emergency calls and transport patients to medical facilities
- Perform primary and secondary patient assessments, including vital sign checks and medical history reviews
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals
- Provide advanced life support care to critical patients, including intubation and IV therapy
- Participate in public fire prevention and education programs
- Inspect and maintain ambulances and emergency equipment
- Complete accurate records and reports for administrative and operational activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and State of Georgia Paramedic certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CPR certifications
- NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications within one year of appointment
