Controller

Key Tasks:

Month End
Monthly WIP Reporting as it relates to construction and long-term progress billed projects
General ledger account reconciliations
Weekly and monthly union and benefit reports
Prepare borrowing base certificates for lending purposes
Supervise office manager and project coordinator
Monitors, reviews, and solves discrepancies in general ledger accounts
Prepares monthly or quarterly sales tax returns
Prepares quarterly IFTA returns for company fleet
Prepares annual property tax returns
Ensure proper licensing requirements for company and vehicles
Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records
Review and ensure accurate weekly payroll entry
Receipt accounts payable invoices prior to entry
Assist in quarterly and annual audit inquiries
Interact with corporate-level accounting personnel

=Key Competencies:

Proficient in Excel
Proficient in Accounting Software
Construction Accounting experience is required
Self-motivated, quick learner, able to guide others
Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
Must have 7-10 years of prior accounting experience

Salary: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
