Our Civil/Site Project Manager position requires an understanding of the design and permitting of public and private land development projects throughout Connecticut and a passion for advancing the Engineering profession throughout New England.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Building, Supporting, and Connecting multidisciplinary project teams focused on client specified requirements—specifically, demonstrated capabilities in leveraging the strengths and talents of a team, and associated organizational and delegation skills. Projects may include planning, land survey, engineering design, permitting, and construction deliverables
- Estimating fees, determining scope of work, and/or preparing proposals and contracts on large or multiple projects
- Direct project team compliance with contract terms, schedules, budget, and quality objectives
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Licensed Professional Engineer in CT
Depending on the strengths and passions of a successful candidate, this position may also include presenting projects and proposals in interviews, to the public, and/or at conferences. Alternatively, opportunities exist for providing mentoring and support to technical leads or other team members developing in these areas. Similarly, this candidate may enjoy fostering the firm’s existing client relationships while developing new relationships, generating project leads, and providing oversight for other Civil/Site projects. The Project Manager position supports attendance at local conferences, events, and client meetings to further develop relationships and project opportunities.
