What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Coordinator position at BSD Management?
The main role of this position will be to lessen the burden of the property manager and assistant property manager by taking charge of the following responsibilities -
- Handling maintenance needs - this includes but is not limited to - scheduling maintenance requests with residents who want to be home when maintenance personnel is there, ordering parts needed for maintenance staff, communicating with maintenance team and making sure maintenance tickets are being closed out and notated in detail, transcribing after hours maintenance requests into work orders, etc
- Assisting managers - this will include posting printed late fees on residents doors, lease renewals, pre move-out and move-out inspections, scheduling deliveries, processing checks when needed
- At times, greeting residents as they come to the office, assess their concerns and direct them to either the manager, assistant manager or yourself depending on what it is they need, directing phone calls in a similar manner
Ideal candidate will have basic knowledge in maintenance however this is not a deal breaker. We currently have a fantastic team at this location and we are looking for someone to carry that same positive energy and help us bring the company to the next level. Candidate should have great peoples skills, smile and be a great team player.
Once again the goal of this position is to allow the property manager and assistant property manager to focus more of their time on the bigger picture as opposed to getting caught up with the nitty gritty day to day tasks

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
