Senior Graphic Designer

SUMMARY

The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet strategies from concept to completion. The Senior Designer will play a lead 1role on projects, designing for the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop and present design solutions following creative directions, brand strategy and marketing objectives.
• Communicate design concepts with clear reasoning behind proposed solutions.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet established deadlines.
• Take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Prepare creative ideas and fresh approaches to each project.
• Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Design for a range of platforms; social, web, out of home, arena and print.

• Roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a willingness to take on “non-role-specific” marketing duties as needed to support the team and business.
• Clear communicator, both verbally and visually.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• 4-6 years graphic design experience at a sports advertising and branding agency preferred.
• Background in spatial and event design.
• Experience designing campaigns formatted for social, web, out of home.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications or any other Art related degree.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating skill in visual design, typography, and illustration (Photography and motion experience is a plus).
• Mac platform, (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office, Web/interactive experience.
• Design portfolio including print and digital pieces required.
• Strong understanding of web technologies as they relate to creative concept development and design.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

SALARY RANGE:

$90,000 - $110,000

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Works primarily in an office environment but is expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
