Title: Lab Tech/ Extraction Tech
Reports to: Lab Manager
Location: Oakland, CA
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $25
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lab/Extraction Tech supports the lab in all areas ensuring quality and consistent cannabis products.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Comply with all company and state regulations pertaining to cultivation and packaging of cannabis
- Measuring and packaging socks for consistent and quality presentation of premium cannabis products.
- Maintain a steady pace and quality.
- Responsible for clean-up of all processing areas and equipment during and at the end of their shift
- Must be detailed, clean and organized
- Assist lab techs when required and where needed
- Must have prior experience with BHO/Closed Loop Manufacturing
- Post Processing Experience a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Independent worker with the ability to work on own and complete assigned tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Move at a quick pace and able to change tasks
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to exchange accurate information, detect/identify documents and the information contained in them, continuous mobility throughout the lab, lift and move up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, and crouch on a daily basis. Must be ok with repetitive movement on a continuous basis. Must follow safety and compliance.
