Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for assuring that all tasks are carried out in a manner that is consistent with laws, regulations and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities.
· Coordinates internal and external recruitment efforts and resourcing tactics, writing and placing employment ads with appropriate resources, and resource relationship management
· Coordinates all HRIS processes in ADP related to employment onboarding for new hires, change of status, and termination requests upon receipt, in coordination with appropriate managers.
· Coordinates and manages leave requests, assuring appropriate documentation is collected to support leave and responds to associates regarding leave and benefit utilization status. Coordinates leaves with appropriate benefit providers, as necessary.
· Maintains knowledge of benefit offerings and responds to basic benefit inquiries and directs associates to appropriate benefit parties.
· Assists employees experiencing a life status event (babies, marriage, divorces, etc.), providing guidance related to benefit change eligibility.
· Prepares and/or assists in the completion of reports and surveys, such as OSHA 300 logs, EEO-1, VETS-100, Vendor/Contractor Qualification reports, wage/salary/benefit surveys, employment verifications, bid, etc.
· Assures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
· Oversees compliance with required postings for organization & distributes to all locations.
· Coordinates and facilitates the initial benefits orientation and new employee orientation.
· Maintains and revises job descriptions in coordination with HR Officer.
· Manages HR digital resources, including but not limited to external Careers site and internal HR shared file.
· Assists in the development and distribution of necessary HR communications, including but not limited to new initiatives, DEI activities, policies, etc.
· Maintains continuous line of communication with reporting manager and team to assure challenges and concerns are address immediately.
· Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
· Assist with processing payroll and resolution of payroll issues.
· Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
· Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
· Help plan and oversee employee recognition events.
· Act as an advocate for employees and conveys employee issues and concerns to management for resolution.
· Perform HR file audits to ensure that all required documents are collected and are maintained in employee files.
· Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field or equivalent on the job experience preferred.
- Two or more years payroll or human resource related experience and/or training.
- Solid understanding of employment laws, benefit plan designs, personnel record keeping principles and practices, and related local, state and federal regulations coupled with the ability to appropriately translate this understanding into action.
- Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions, including the ability to maintain information in a confidential manner.
- Proven proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all organizational members.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
