Our client is hiring for a permanent HR Generalist - Benefits & HRIS position that serves as a point of contact for all Benefit and HRIS processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Benefits:

  • Administer employee benefit programs including medical and dental, vision, flexible spending and dependent care, disability, life insurance, and retirement plans
  • Maintain employee benefits files regarding benefit deductions, changes or additions, leave of absences, new hires and terminations
  • Administer and track state and federal leave programs ensuring compliance and timeliness of tasks related to FMLA, PFML, and other leaves of absence
  • Manage working relationships with all benefits vendors
  • Respond to employee inquiries and questions regarding benefits plans/leaves and act as primary contact for Open Enrollment, online performance review process, and Total Reward statements
  • Process, track and manage Workers’ Compensation claims

HRIS:

  • Coordinate and update HRIS system to fully maximize usage
  • Develop and implement new processes and systems to automate manual HR functions and run, analyze, transmit and archive recurring HRIS processes and interfaces
  • Design, develop, test and deliver reports
  • Create audit reports to ensure HRIS data integrity and complete HRIS data change requests/data cleanup projects

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of employee benefits administration experience
  • Prior experience using a HRIS system; knowledge of Paycom a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of benefit plan design, coordination of vendor relationships, and prior Open Enrollment experience utilizing an online HRIS system
  • Knowledge of employment benefit and leave laws (ACA, COBRA, MAPFML, FMLA, ADA and workers compensation) including HR best practices and recordkeeping compliance
  • Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
