Leads the team in the planning, development and execution of strategies to ensure the West Palm Beach (WPB) Engine Center meets and/or exceeds engine quality & delivery goals to exceed customer expectations. Overall, responsible for providing leadership to maximize an effective organization and for creating a work environment that encourages participation, process improvement and employee well being. Drive focus and ensure alignment of the organization to meet Operations and Module Center requirements. Responsible for production delivery, as well as partnership across the supply chain leadership to ensure appropriate focus is placed on overdue parts, ensuring maximum delivery performance. Manage resources and coordinate to optimize the overall performance of the deliveries coming out of the WPB facility. Interface with Module Centers through the Integrated Product Development structure as well as interfacing with Program Management.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed military production engine commitments and APU, including delivery to Customer contract and delivery to PW financial plans
- Meet or exceed Quality, EHS, ITC, and FAA regulatory compliance requirements.
- Develop manpower, capital, strategic plans to align capacity and capability of the facility with future requirements.
- Maintain a solid working relationship with DCMA site representation to facilitate engine deliveries and collaborative solutions to delivery issues.
- Maintain a working relationship with IAM leadership to foster a productive work environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, 10 or more years of related experience, 6 or more years of progressive management experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s level degree, any job-specific knowledge
