Job Description
Physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights by hand. This includes lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, and placing items in corresponding areas with continuous physical bending, twisting, and kneeling in a safe and efficient manner. Other responsibilities may include operating a forklift and/or box truck. Shifts may vary depending on warehouse package volume and business needs. Apply today to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintaining inventory control
- Assisting with shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking-in products or materials
- Preparing orders by processing requests, pulling orders, packing and transporting packages to the shipping area
- Sorting and putting away warehouse items, as directed by organizational standards
- Coordinated transfers of products between several facilities
- Operating a box truck and/or forklift
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Other duties may be assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly
- Reliable Transportation
- Forklift experience (Required)
- Box truck experience (Preferred)
- Ability to lift 60 or more pounds continuously
- Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
- Dependable, self-starter, able to work independently when needed
- Ability to contribute positively as a team member
- Must pass drug screen
- Valid driver's license (Required)
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
