What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stocker position at Bud K Worldwide, Inc?
Position Summary: Responsible for accurately stocking and arranging inventory for efficient order picking.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Transports materials and items from bulk areas to picking areas.
- Accurately stocks assigned picking locations, notifying stock lead of any discrepancies immediately, and returns completed stocking sheets signed.
- Marks materials with identifying information by placing labels onto merchandise in a fashion that will not harm the product itself in any way.
- Opens containers/case packs/inner packs to allow for ease of order picking and removes trash as needed.
- Assists, as needed, in the unloading of containers.
- Ensures his/her work areas are maintained and cleaned daily
- Ensures he/she supports all company safety procedures and encourages all fellow associates to do the same.
- Ensures that his/her assignments are completed in a consistent and high quality manner.
- Understands that in our team environment that he/she could on occasion be required to support other job functions on his/her shift.
- Work in an efficient manner to help ensure that the team reaches productivity.
- Other Assigned Responsibilities/Development – Other duties as assigned.
