What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager Trainee position at Buddy's Pizza?
Essential Functions
- Executes hourly training programs and assist in all BOH orientations.
- Executes all daily, weekly reports/inventories to support center as necessary.
- Performs continuous figure 8’s to ensure product quality and timeliness of food preparation.
- Supervises all receiving and ordering procedures for accuracy.
- Performs line checks. Supervises all sanitation and food handling practices to comply with Health and Safety regulations.
- Monitors all areas of the building and identify any substandard safety & security risks and reports them to the General Manager immediately.
- Recommend BOH staff to General Manager for re-training, coaching, reviews and recognition.
- Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and preventative maintenance.
- Displays team-building skills and always handles assignments with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Flexibility to step into other BOH positions if deemed by Managers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management/supervisory role in full-service restaurant operations
- Proficient in the following areas: leadership, communication, staff mentoring and development, and quality of operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively will all levels of staff with effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of manpower needs and scheduling guidelines.
- Full knowledge of all recipes and product specifications.
- SERV Safe certified.
- Knowledge of employment law with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must possess and demonstrate solid computer skills.
