The Payroll Accountant and Human Resources Generalist performs bi-weekly student payroll and monthly payroll for faculty and staff and is responsible for reports and filings associated with the payrolls. Administers the student worker program ensuring compliance with Federal Work Study regulations, processing new student worker employment paperwork, work-study contracts, and monitoring earnings. Assist in administering various human resources programs, procedures, and initiatives for university employees including employee engagement, communication, and recognition. This position also works with the Business Office performing general accounting duties.
A bachelor’s degree is required; a Major in Accounting, Human Resources, or equivalent is preferred. One to two years of experience in payroll or accounting is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
