What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Systems Analyst position at Buffalo Lodging Associates?
Buffalo Lodging, a growing hotel management company, is seeking a Technology Systems Analyst to help implement, maintain, and support key technologies used across our portfolio of multi-branded hotels. The Technology Systems Analyst will work directly with all levels of users throughout the organization, including General Managers, Sales, and IT as well as vendors, to support business software and technology needs.
The successful candidate will have experience in hotel guest technology including guest entertainment, in room control, IOT and digital platforms. In addition, this role will support hotel teams with several Property Management Systems as well as specific hotel brand POS systems.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Brand PMS and Peripherals Hardware- Support hotels during major upgrades and fixes
- Brand Credential Maintenance -Assist with new users, unlocking accounts, resetting credentials
- Guest HSIA -High Speed Internet Access infrastructure maintenance, upgrades and replacements
- Sales Software- Assist in unlocking accounts and resetting credentials
- Point of Sales (POS) – Assist in escalated issues
- Music On Hold- Infrastructure Maintenance, Repair or source for vendors
- TV Programming- Assist in escalated issues, tickets more than 48 hours
- Brand OTTs (Over The Top Technology)-Infrastructure Maintenance
- Phone Systems and Circuits- Assist in escalated issues, tickets more than 48 hours
- Key Lock Systems- Upgrades and Replacements
- Business Analytics System -Take the lead on troubleshooting interface and reporting issues
- Timekeeping System - monitor and support daily operational needs
- Camera Systems –Network – Connected to HSIA network, repair or source for vendors
- Intranet Site -monitor and maintain Intranet Site
- HVAC Energy Management System - ensure systems are in accordance with the hotels’ system
