Description
Position Purpose: Full-Time
To ensure that all gaming machines are in good working order for optimal play.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Check duty roster and read all communication from the Slot Performance Coordinator at the beginning of the shift.
· Communicate any departmental issues or concerns to the Slot Performance Coordinator.
· Become knowledgeable of all gaming machine, tournament games, promotional games, and departmental regulations, and policies & procedures. Maintain all gaming machines in good working order.
· Troubleshoot problems and repair machines when needed.
· Place service calls to vendors when efforts to repair machines have been exhausted, or when parts are needed.
· Assist with maintaining accurate and current records of games.
· Report any repetitive machine issues or complaints to the Slot Performance Coordinator.
· Check parts inventory periodically and work with vendors to maintain an adequate supply of parts.
· Assist with machine installs, conversions, and removals.
· Become familiar with casino events and promotions in order to accurately inform guests.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education/Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years old.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Must have at least 1 year of prior experience.
· Electrical wiring training or experience required.
· Prior experience troubleshooting and repairing IGT Advantage, hardware, and Class2 & Class 3 gaming machines.
Licensing:
· Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License
Work Requirements:
Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
