Our Vision is to make the dream of home ownership more achievable for everyone, making Builders First Source the most valuable partner in the industry. PURPOSEUnder general supervision, assigns drivers and vehicles to deliver customer orders according to desired or anticipated delivery schedule; may direct drivers by two-way radio; may establish service or delivery routes for regular customers.Provides training to other Dispatchers and Drivers.Confers with customers and/or sales staff to determine desired delivery times; creates delivery schedule to assist drivers and material handling staff in planning work activities.Maintains record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made and other delivery-related expenses.Responds to customer complaints/questions regarding deliveries; expedites or locates missing, misrouted, delayed or damaged merchandise.REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and two (2) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Working knowledge of company’s policies and procedures related to scheduling, and dispatchingKnowledge of DOT or other requirements regulating work activities Customer service orientation Ability to organize multiple activities for self and others and coordinate completion of tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite BENEFITS (Click Here - https://bldr.com/why-builders#benefits)Medical, dental and vision insurance                         Life Insurance            Paid holidays and paid time off                               Flexible spending accounts for Heath and Dependent Care401K retirement plan with matching contributions Short-term and long-term disability coverage
