Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Full-Time Delivery Driver to pickup and to deliver grocery orders from multiple locations. In this role, your duties will include communicating with our shoppers and dispatchers, navigating streets, neighborhoods, apartment buildings, and ensuring that deliveries are accurate and happening on-time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Following pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed.
• Picking up orders from multiple locations.
• Shopping for Buncha orders (typically before first van load & as needed throughout the week), using Substitute Request Feature and Accommodating Customer Communication
• Following delivery instructions including special notes for accessing certain drop points.
• Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from shoppers, drivers, and dispatchers.
• Communicating with customers about order details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
• Maintaining records of vehicle checks and service needs.
• Control and monitor the delivery operations and keep customers informed of their delivery status.
• Organizing all orders each day inside the delivery vehicle and ensuring the orders are safe and will maintain excellent quality for the customer.

Delivery Driver Requirements

• Must be comfortable working with logistics applications.
• Comfortable driving a larger vehicle as well as having excellent spacial awareness.
• Ability to work under stress and remain calm while driving on public roads.
• Excellent driving and communication skills.
• Experience doing multi-stop delivery.
• Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of experience as a delivery driver or in a similar industry.
• Valid United States drivers license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
