What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production operator position at Bunge?
Core Functions :
- Safely move rail cars for inbound and outbound shipments
- Unload and distribute inbound supplies and products
- Load and unload trucks and rail cars
- Wash rail cars
- Monitor gas plant and nitrogen buildings
- Responsible to adhere to the Food Safety Culture to provide safe product to consumers
- Report any concerns with safe food practices
- Perform department sanitation duties
- Monitor processes and make adjustments as needed
- Clean and change filters
- Monitor and record process conditions on log sheets
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
Skill / Experience Requirements :
- High School Diploma / GED preferred
- Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred
- Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures
- Basic computer and mechanical skills
- Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willing to work overtime and flexible hours
- Must be able to work 2nd / 3rd shift
