What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Specialist position at Bungie?
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Specialist is a new role at Bungie supporting the enterprise. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day Procure To Pay (PTP) activity supporting the IT group. This role will be assisting in the centralization of the IT Procurement functions across the enterprise. The Procurement Specialist will have experience in the end-to-end Procure to Pay process and flow and will assist in the procurement optimization with Workday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support best in class Procurement functions for Bungie TechOps organization, aligned to Bungie’s Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) strategy.
- Partner with S&P leadership to execute Procurement strategies.
- Partner with the TechOps team in managing budgets and maintaining external partner service levels, quality of work, compliance, and financial targets.
- Partner with S&P leadership to maintain and improve the PTP Process.
- Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements. Place orders with approved suppliers and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve any purchasing issues.
- Drive purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis.
- Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.
- Develop and maintain internal procurement relationships and partnerships.
- Ensure compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities. Maintain accurate documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience in Business Management, Finance, Logistics or Supply Chain
- Well established procurement experience in IT, asset management
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Has experience with the entire PTP workflow and process improvement.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to integrate new Procurement best practices through influence and relationships.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in P2P software (Workday preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate business terms.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

Salary : $72,000 - $85,000
