What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indoor Guest Experience Lead position at Bunker Hill Charities?
The Guest Experience Lead is a crucial member of our hospitality team at Bunker Hill Farms, a private by-invitation-only resort located NW of Chicago in Woodstock IL. The Guest Experience Lead will act as the liaison between our guests and the resort. This position will ensure our guests’ experience is one to remember as well as adhere to a guest daily agenda. Our Guest Experience Leads represent our resort and brand to the fullest. They must be professional, polished, and poised.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on property as a lead at Bunker Hill Farms resort during executive retreats, guest stays, and golf outings.
- Follow predetermined guest agenda and keep experience/event per pre determined schedule.
- Act as the main point of contact on property for guests.
- Pre/Post Event Duties per management - Set up and tear down before and after outings.
- Interact directly with guests to deliver an unparalleled customer service experience.
- Light bartending and serving
- Assist with setting up breakfast, lunch, and snacks for our guests.
- Assist as needed with food and beverage set up.
- Work at both of our large annual events as a position lead- mud run & concert.
Qualifications:
- Previous hospitality experience (ie. hotel, restaurant, customer service, or area of study)
- High school diploma or GED.
- Complete understanding of customer service and interacting with guests in a professional manner.
- Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to change in a positive way.
- Positive “can do” attitude - willing to go above & beyond to exceed guest expectations
- A team player that is willing to be a leader during events and work with others to accomplish tasks.
- Must remain professional and positive while facing challenges.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and punctual.
- Able to stand for long periods of time (8 hours) and lift 15-30lbs during the event set up.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Candidates must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement to ensure privacy for our high profile guests.
- This is an independent contractor role. Team members hours will be scheduled on a as needed basis.
