Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide engineering, manufacturing and project management support. This position requires the candidate to perform in all aspects of the business including design engineering, Creo model and drawing creation, reverse engineering, component selection and project management.
· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
· Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
· Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
· Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
· Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
· Strong root cause and corrective action skills to investigate equipment failures, diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crews.
· Perform drafting activities to produce manufacturing drawings utilizing CAD.
· Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
- Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation and performance of equipment, components and systems.
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years design experience
- 2D and 3D CAD experience required; significant Creo experience is a strong plus
- Experience in designing sheet metal, machined components, and assemblies
- Understanding of basic electrical design concepts and software
- Engineering project management skills
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Occasional travel required domestically and internationally, 5%.

· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
