What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cost Support Administrator position at Bunzl?

Responsibilities:

  • Update contract data in Bunzl AS400 system and maintain the accuracy of associated data
  • Execute processes associated with vendor contracts to ensure consistency and accuracy is achieved
  • Cultivate proficiency in understanding various rebate contract arrangements
  • Cultivate partnerships with internal customers and vendors regarding contract data
  • Audit rebate reports and customer accounts for data accuracy
  • Maintain database containing new and updated accounts
  • Maintain organized system of digital contract records
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business preferred
  • Ability to multi-task projects, establish priorities, work independently
  • Ability to organize effectively in a high paced environment
  • Must be detail orientated, with a meticulous approach to assigned tasks
  • Curious problem solver by nature; able to quickly make sense of complex data issues
  • Driven, self-motivated, team player adept at working in a deadline driven environment
  • Proven strong analytical and organization skills
  • A successful track record in problem-solving with critical thinking skills
  • MUST be proficient in Excel (Filtering, VLookup, Pivot Tables)
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, and vendors
