A unique hybrid opportunity with approximately 95% remote and 5% travel. This will be a full-time contracted position from late-October to end of May. The start date for this position is October 23, 2023. This position is based in the Seattle, WA area. Attendance for in-person training at our headquarters is required.
· Manage seminars for leaders in education each weekday (Monday-Friday) during October-May
· Assist each seminar presenter (an independent education consultant) with set-up and support them throughout the seminar day
· Manage registration process and provide customer service support to participants throughout the day
· Process seminar reports (registration, payments, continuing education units, expenses, etc) and maintain communication with BER office daily
This position will primarily be remote about 95% of the contract.
- Manage and host 1-2 virtual seminars from your home, 5 days per week, for small to medium size groups (10-250 people)
- Support online seminar instructor throughout the day (tech support, moderator, Zoom controls, etc)
- Manage registration and communication with attendees during seminar
- Online seminars days often start as early as 5:15am Pacific Time
- Support other departments with remote projects as needed
- Flexibility allows you to manage online seminars remotely
- Comprehensive training and support are provided
This position will have travel about 5% of the contract.
· Week-long travel throughout the U.S. (typical travel takes you away from home early Sunday morning through late Friday night each week). Travel will be about two weeks in November, one to two weeks in December, and about one week a month in January, February, March, or Apri.
· Depart early (6-10am) on Sunday mornings and arrive in the first seminar city that evening (6-9pm) depending on location
· In addition to a personal suitcase, each event manager will travel with an audio-visual suitcase that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
· Coordinate with hotel staff each morning (Monday-Friday) to ensure all details pre-planned by our office are ready for the meeting (i.e. room set up, audio-visual equipment and food and beverage orders)
- Set up, test, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment for seminar(s)
- At the conclusion of the day, you and the presenter travel together to the next seminar city. Each week of travel you will typically be in five different cities and travel daily by plane or rental car. You can travel home most Friday evenings. You can also use weekends to see friends and relatives around the country, or travel on your own.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills
- Superb communication skills, including public speaking in-person and in a virtual environment (address audiences daily with logistical details)
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Dependability and professionalism
- Experience with audio-visual equipment desired, but not required
- Experience with Zoom Meetings platform helpful, but not required (full training provided)
- Positive attitude
- Good driving record (valid driver’s license required)
- Flexibility and ability to handle changing environments
- Able to lift and maneuver 50-pound audio-visual suitcases when traveling
- This position is based out of the Seattle area. Attendance for in-person training at our headquarters is required.

Starting salary is $4018 per month benefits (including medical, dental, and vision beginning January 1, 2024). All travel-related business expenses are 100% reimbursed.
