Position Summary
Receive samples from Sample Control Department and accurately assign tests and national brands in a timely manner.
Objective
This position handles the initial steps of contract review for all HL products. The purpose of this position is to gain efficiencies of contract review by having one or two individuals conduct the first steps of contract review for all samples submitted to HL.
Major Roles & Responsibilities
- Receive samples from Sample Control Department
- Assign national brands as applicable
- Save protocols to appropriate folders
- Assign tests based on protocol requirements
- Print applicable datasheets
- Distribute blue sheets throughout Micro department for all reports
- Complete and attach contract review forms to samples
- Work with labs and Customer Service Specialists to identify and correct any concerns or problems that arise
- Order all national brands required for testing
- Photograph and save photos of all new national brands
- Maintain organized sample racks for current samples in testing and historic national brands
- Maintain procedures directly or indirectly pertinent to department
- Pass all blue sheets to Customer Service Specialists in a timely manner
- Train fellow HL staff to serve as back-ups
- Become familiar with all HL product types and applicable national brands
- Follow the guidelines set forth in the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Comply with Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc management systems in accordance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

KPI’s for this role will be determined as part of the annual PMP process, but could include:
- Zero missing samples
- On time deliveries to CSS
- Accurate test assignment and protocol selection
- Improve TAT of HBHF by increasing efficiency and throughput
- Reduce inter-department errors through measured Quality initiatives

Experience and Educational Background Required for the Job
Coordinator II:
- High School Diploma and 3 years related experience; or
- 2-year college degree and 1 year related experience
Compensation Range: $18 - $19 hourly (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).
