We are looking for Managers to oversee all restaurant operations, including welcoming and serving customers and providing a welcoming work experience to many people's first job. Manager responsibilities include delegating tasks to restaurant staff, addressing diners’ questions, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance
- Maintain a fully-stocked inventory and order food supplies, as needed
- Manage hourly labor
- Arrange to have shifts covered (e.g. when employees take time off)
- Help staff resolve on-the-job challenges
- Daily waste and inventory
- Balance the cash register at the end of the shift
- Ensure customer satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints
- Close the restaurant
- Inform the next Shift Manager about pending tasks
Skills
- Proven experience as a Shift Manager or relevant role in a restaurant preferred
- Availability to work night shifts, including weekends
- A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism
- Excellent organizational skills
- Team management abilities
- ServSafe certification or ability to pass test
