What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Coordinator position at Burger King?
Job Purpose: To create a fun, enjoyable dining experience with fast friendly service, top quality products and high standards of cleanliness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understands and communicates with customers and fellow employees. Delegating work as needed to crew members.
- Certified Service on Burger King GURU and ServSafe Certification.
- Processes customer orders through a POS register, counts money and makes change.
- Understands food preparation and assembly procedures, ensuring sufficient food is prepared for a day’s work and ensuring only top quality products are used.
- Prepares all food in compliance with health and sanitation codes.
- Maintains food preparation area, dining room, restrooms and adjacent outside areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Completes customer orders by the pickup and placement of prepared food items and beverages on a serving tray or into carry out bags/containers.
- Manages cash at opening, closing or shift changes. Counts safe, prepares drawers, verifies cash and store bank.
