The cashier position is responsible for the overall customer experience. You will be working directly with customers and will be responsible for providing a personalized experience while ensuring speedy and accurate completion of transactions. We’re looking for a reliable cashier to help us maintain high levels of customer service and sales. This position requires good communication skills as well as computer knowledge since you will be using technology to expedite your work. You’ll need to be reliable, with the ability to multitask, since you may perform several tasks at once. Our company places a high value on customer satisfaction. The goal is to meet each customer’s needs in order to increase sales volume and maintain maximum revenue.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Must posses customer service skills; be able to engage with customers in a friendly manner upon entering and leaving the store.
- Welcome customers upon their entrance into the store.
- Quickly and efficiently ring out customers while providing a high-quality customer service experience.
- Must possess basic math skills in order to provide correct change and accurate receipt. Handle and safeguard cash, checks and credit cards.
- Must possess basic computer skills to ring out customers.
- Stay up-to-date on current store promotions and sale pricing.
- Answer phones promptly and professionally.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
