Position Title: Administrative Support Specialist

Summary:
Qualified individual will collaborate with department managers and team leads to ensure that all logistical considerations are attended to and provide administrative support and scheduling to support travel and event needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties will be assigned as required)
Daily Activities:
- Event Planning
- Organize candidate and training attendee travel arrangements, food, and supplies
- Arrange flights within USA for Foreign Burkert Employees
- Answer phones/transfer to appropriate associate
- Acknowledge visitors and direct them to appropriate associate
- Distribute incoming faxes to appropriate associate (Fax.InsidesSales)
- Review General Delivery voice messages and direct to appropriate associate
- Prepare reception, conference & dining areas; adjust applicable lights and shades
- Manage Huntersville conference room Outlook calendars and advise possible conflicts
- Coordinate business lunches and customer visits
- Work with caterers, hotels, and transportation companies to plan events
- Assist staff with setup of conference rooms and conference equipment as requested
- Submit monthly AMEX expenses via Concur to identify appropriate cost center (and Internal code for Field Sales)
- Coordinate to insure adequate lobby door coverage during business hours
- Daily retrieve postal mail from postal box and sort for distribution:
- Sort all other mail and distribute as needed
- Apply postage to outgoing mail and deposit in postal box by daily deadline
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Other Activities:
- Keep information confidential
- Provide customer tours as requested
- Create presentations and research (as requested)

Education and Experience:
High school graduation required
1 years of clerical experience in an office environment.
Skills:
Language – English required
Mathematical – Basic math and accounting required.
Computer – Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office
Basic computer skills, including MS Excel, Word and Power Point required
