Small family owned cafe seeking a front of the house manager.
We are seeking a dynamic individual that wants to use their experience in hospitality to assist us in running our small 30 seat breakfast cafe.
This is the perfect opportunity for an already experienced server to further their career in the hospitality industry, or for someone looking to leave the chain restaurants and work with people who appreciate your diverse talents.
Your main focus will be guest interaction, creating a welcoming experience, maintaining a clean and organized dining room, and supervising our staff to uphold the same standards.
Responsibilities include :
- Guest interaction- ensuring a consistent and positive experience. Handling all situations professionally and within company standards.
- Liaison between front and back of the house- communication, proper pacing of tables or takeout, 86'ed items, POS updating
- Inventory control- assist owners with purchase of liquor, supplies, and NAB stocking and organizing
- Creativity!- assist the owners with: beverage program( NAB's cocktails, coffee drinks), menu development input on menus/catering/ retail sales
- Attention to detail- Maintain a clean and organized dining room, lavatory and entry
- Staffing- Interviewing, training, and managing all FOH staff.
