Responsibilities:

  • Positively demonstrate the company’s Core Values by developing trust and respect among peers and management, working in teams and partnering with others through collaborative work ethics, and driving business results by placing a high priority on detail and accuracy to successfully complete all tasks
  • Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
  • Coach, and train department Associates in the execution of the company’s Loss Prevention program. Display leadership in delivering expected results.
  • At the direction of the DC’s Asset Protection Manager and DC Senior Management, supervise and direct a single or multiple DC Asset Protection Associates in the execution of the company’s Asset Protection program.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of new Asset Protection Associates.
  • Supervise and execute all required audits and reporting of Shortage Control and Asset Protection programs.
  • Assist DC Management in identifying issues and problems that directly impact Shortage and lead the DC team in corrective actions and investigations.
  • Detect and deter individuals involved in dishonest or illicit activity in the DC.
  • Investigate and resolve internal theft cases at the direction of Asset Protection Management
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility to maintain physical security and protection of assets
  • Monitor closed circuit television systems, if applicable
  • Enforce company standards as they relate to security and safety procedures
  • Participate in the training of new hire associates in matters of loss prevention and safety procedures.
  • Conduct inspections and communicate hazards to Managers on duty
  • Ensure physical security by controlling access of associates and visitors
  • Execute directives as assigned by Asset Protection Manager or DC Management.
  • Build Partnerships with Management Teams in assigned DCs.
  • Ability to take on additional responsibilities for within the division for Audits, Investigations, Safety-Crisis Response, Operations, Team, and or Technology
  • Develop professional relationships with Local Law Enforcement and Retail LP

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and the ability to stand for extended periods of time. Candidates must have basic computer proficiency.
