JOB DESCRIPTION
The Trainer is responsible for upholding company standards and providing an unmatched workout for our clients, while fostering community and helping our clients achieve their goals. They are also responsible for growing the member base and utilizing the promotion of additional revenue streams and system wide challenges to diversify revenue. This position requires a strong ability to be a personal trainer in a group setting, motivating multiple clients and providing a positive community for change. The Trainer focuses on fitness and lifestyle, including mindset and nutrition, that creates an environment of support to exceed our client’s expectations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Train camps, adhering to the protocol provided by HQ and the Lead Trainer. Camps are ran utilizing the
90/10 rule to the best of your ability. Camp will be set up for the following day after the last camp of the day.
- Ensure the safety of participants regarding exercise technique and modify exercises to accommodate various skill levels.
- Workouts should be made to be relatively challenging to all members.
- Deliver top quality service focused on the Burn Boot Camp philosophy and 5 pillars of success:

- Perform Focus Meetings with active and trial members. Work together with the training team to help members reach their goals.
- Participate in community and charitable events as directed by the Franchise Partners and Ops Manager.
- Be familiar with and able to conduct gym related sales including trial, memberships, retail and Burn
Nutrition.
- Actively collaborate with the team to close trials-goal is 50%.
- Maximize the client experience by utilizing the Blue Carpet Experience every camp, every day.
- Execute in-gym challenges and support nationwide fitness challenges/promotions.
- Responsible for education, training and content from HQ, including but not limited to the Burn Learning
- Portal and Burn HQ and Trainer Forum Facebook groups.
- Responsible for keeping equipment, trainer work areas and gym organized, sanitized and professional looking. Including but not limited to returning equipment to assigned storage location, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning equipment, etc.
- Additional gym duties as assigned by the FP’s and/or Ops Manager including but not limited to staff meetings, social media content, promotions and joint venture engagement.
- Actively promote the gym on personal social media.
- Complete and pass the SAC yearly.
- Responsible for ensuring all certifications remain current.
- Read, engage and implement weekly meeting/protocol messages sent by the Lead Trainer in the Burn
Norman/South OKC Trainer Facebook group. It is assumed that the weekly post is being read and implemented.
- Utilize the Feedback Loop daily.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid and acceptable Certified Personal Trainers Certificate or a degree in an exercise science field.
Valid CPR certification.
- Ability to pass the Strength and Conditioning test (SAC).
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized while effectively communicating in a positive and motivating manner.
- Have a high level of understanding and presence in social media.
- Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels and knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
- Embodies a hustle and grind focus to achieve goals and growth, personally and professionally.
