GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Behavioral Health Monitor is responsible to provide safety observation of inpatient behavioral health patients. The primary function is to ensure patient safety in a manner that upholds patient rights. As part of the interdisciplinary care team, the Behavioral Health Monitor will be asked to observe and engage with patients as directed by the licensed registered nurse. The Behavioral Health Monitor will document the activity and behavior of the patient(s) observed. The Behavioral Health Monitor will communicate the care that is provided and report all issues/concerns to the licensed registered nurse.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Experience in the mental health or substance use field recommended.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR (BLS) and CPI certification required within 30 days of hire.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $14.25 - $21.00 per hour

- Southbridge, MA 01550: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Babysitting: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
