Job Description
Packing and Shipping Clerk
Business Needs Inc. is seeking a packing and shipping clerk to oversee our daily operations and ensure efficient and effective management of our inventory, including preparing orders for packing and shipping. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with a team as well as strong organizational and communication skills. The position requires that the candidate work morning shifts (10:00am - 2:00pm)
Responsibilities
- Email and communicate with vendors and suppliers
- Manage inventory sheet and ensure accuracy of inventory
- Prepare orders for packing and shipping
- Print labels from various e-commerce sites as well as third-party sites such as Stamps
- Procure inventory from vendors and ensure timely delivery
- Prepare shipments for Amazon FBA and manage FBA shipments and inventory
- Generate and analyze sales reports and inventory reports
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Manage packing supplies and ensure their availability
- Manage returns and customer service inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Lift and move boxes up to 50lbs
Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
