Our growing international logistics business is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Manager to lead a 24/7 warehousing and distribution center. The Warehouse Manager will oversee all operational functions and staff members (Shift Supervisors, Leads, Forklift Operators, Inspectors, General Laborers) and will report into the GM / Director of Operations. A successful candidate for this role will have prior experience in managing large and complex 24/7 operations.
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for building and managing a high performing team across the three shifts, 7-day operating schedule. In this role the candidate will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of a variety of products. The candidate-s hands on leadership will foster a team environment that is focused on serving the customer while keeping a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for meeting critical KPI targets set by the customer and internal leadership as well as for achieving profitability targets established during the company-s annual budgeting process.
Responsibilities:
· Direct daily operations including workflow scheduling, monitoring of productivity and quality, process troubleshooting, and all other activities required to ensure safety, inventory accuracy, on-time shipments and exceptional customer satisfaction.
· Oversee all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping and managing returned/damaged goods, maintenance and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
· Maintain customer contacts and develop relationships that are built out of trust.
· Develop, Document, Implement and Maintain rigorous standard operating procedures for proper receipt, storage, handling, and shipment of each customer-s inventory.
· Ensure that inventory is 100% accurate (at the LPN level) and organized at all times with detailed location-based records verified via continuous cycle counts.
· Develop and manage a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue, and profit parameters.
· Hire, retain and develop a quality staff providing opportunities for advancement and organizational growth.
· Plan and manage the daily workload and staffing; Perform ongoing analyses to adjust staffing needs to match workflow and volume projections.
· Design and implement staffing strategies to ensure work force is flexible and can respond to variations in workflow while meeting budgetary and operational targets.
· Ensure the company-s physical assets (building, material handling equipment, inventory, etc.) are properly controlled, maintained, protected and utilized.
· Administer preventative maintenance cycles and equipment repair needs.
· Manage and administer distribution center budget with full P&L responsibility.
· Ensure all records and reports regarding distribution center activity are prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained.
· Create, maintain and communicate metrics and standards in accordance with facility and corporate goals.
· Create sustainable and innovative processes that will produce high quality results and continuously improve the overall operations.
Work Environment:
· Capable of becoming certified to operate all the equipment used in the warehouse.
· Must be willing and able to frequently stand, walk, and lift products where required.
· Must be able to perform in all areas that hourly employees are performing with the manual dexterity required.
· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.

Basic Qualifications:
· 5 years of supply chain experience, including distribution center, inventory and transportation in a fast paced, high volume facility.
o Oversight of 250,000 sq. ft. facilities operating on a 24/7 schedule is preferred.
· Proven management experience leading a large team of both W-2 and temp labor associates.
· Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
· Demonstrated ability to create and maintain strong client relationships.
· Strong process improvement mindset focusing on continuous growth.
· Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
· Experience with WMS and ERP systems tracking inventory at the LPN level.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with frontline employees, peers, external customers and corporate support team/executives.
· Experience with Cost Center management with past P&L responsibilities.
· Experience and/or formal training related to Lean methodology or Six Sigma related activities a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
