This individual should have strong technical acumen and be a proactive self-starter comfortable with project management, customer communication, and strategy implementation. This role resides in a product support department and collaborates with sales management and marketing. The eCommerce Manager is responsible for supporting our eCommerce channels through various activities such as acquisition strategies, completing customer registrations, creating support tickets, maintaining reporting, and related administrative tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development, proposal, and execution of initiatives and marketing strategies aimed at enhancing and/or growing online presence and eCommerce sales
- Champion for Butler Machinery customer-facing eCommerce applications, including backend registration, maintenance, customer & employee training, and promotion
- Systems include, but are not limited to: Parts.Cat.Com, Integrated Procurement, Cat Central, and SIS 2.0
- Manage and implement Integrated Procurement projects and related customer requests
- Analyze Google Analytics to gain a deeper understanding of customers/prospects and leverage insights in marketing strategy to drive incremental online parts sales
- Engage with the Digital Excellence program and eCommerce Global Dealer Standards program to prioritize and manage internal projects to achieve program targets
- Maintain current knowledge of eCommerce best practices through attending related conferences, training, and building relationships with other dealer eCommerce Managers
- Coordinate and test all system-related updates and changes to eCommerce applications
- Establish customer relationships with appropriate customer contacts to facilitate incremental parts sales through eCommerce channels ensuring customers can realize the full benefits of the platforms
- Troubleshoot customer reported issues associated with ecommerce platforms and communicate those issues internally and externally as needed
- Monitor customer user base to maintain clean customer data in all eCommerce applications through an annual account review process
- Support marketing promotional efforts by providing needed user data
- Administer changes to the backend platforms as needed
- Work within and promote vision, mission, and values of BMC
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or related field OR equivalent experience and training.
- Sales support, procurement or project management experience preferred
- 3 years of related experience in one or more of the following areas: eCommerce, marketing, digital strategy, customer experience, or sales
- Experience in utilizing Google Analytics for audience acquisition and segmentation, sales performance, and campaign analytics
- Strong reporting and analytical skills with a proven track record of using data to drive actionable customer-focused insights
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating across multiple departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand technical information
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required and a working knowledge of PowerBi is preferred
- Must possess strong remote leadership qualities, good computer skills, excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
