Recruiter (EMS Industry)

Butler Medical Transport is a medical transportation company seeking to hire a full time recruiter. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of identifying, sourcing, and attracting top healthcare talent in a fast-paced, sales-oriented recruiting environment. This position reports to the COO of the organization and supports several stakeholders and groups within the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source candidates, screen resumes, and schedule and perform phone interviews with candidates
• Develop, monitor, and enhance employee driven recruitment, referral, retention and awareness programs.
• Develop relationships with local schools and training programs
• Write and post advertisements, and utilize social media sourcing methods for recruitment, interviewing scheduling and performing reference checks
• Participate in regular team meetings to determine recruitment strategies and provide updates
• Keep track of prospective members moving through the application process, especially keeping in touch with prospective members that have existing certifications
• Completes new employee on-boarding process and ensure positive interview and new-hire experience for all candidates
• Performs other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• At least one year of high volume recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare or emergency spaces
• Experience with managing elements of human resources/hiring workflow preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and record keeping skills
• Self-reliant and resourceful
• Reliable self-transportation is a MUST as the position requires regular trips to various city/county offices and other locations

COMPENSATION

• Competitive salary with bonus opportunities.

SCHEDULE

• Traditional business hours throughout the work week with majority hours out of our corporate office, occasional option to work from home as permitted
• Some weekends for recruitment related activities and department events, some of which can be scheduled by the successful candidate.
