Butler's Pantry is looking for an organized, enthusiastic, and driven individual to join our team as a Recruiter. This individual will assist our HR and Service departments with tasks related to the full life cycle of recruiting. As a Recruiter, the responsibilities include but are not limited to assessing the hiring needs of the company, developing job descriptions, and going out into the community to find talent.
Your COMMITMENT to us:
KEEP US HONEST (The necessary stuff)
· Boots on the ground, out in the community, finding and recruiting quality talent.
· Manage all administrative tasks such as updating recruitment databases, hiring profiles, and applicant documentation.
· Source talented candidates through a variety of means including events, advertising, and databases like Linked In, really, Handshake, and others.
· Maintain relationships with universities, high schools, student organizations, recruitment networks, and a variety of other locations in and around the community. With a focus that includes but is not limited to making connections, scheduling recruiting tables in common areas, posting flyers, etc.
· Work with non-profit organizations to find creative ways to help one another by filling positions with potential fundraising or trade opportunities.
· Support candidates and managers with updates in regards to the recruiting process.
· Other duties may be assigned to meet the goals of the organization.
CREATE VALUE (The fun stuff)
· Design and implement recruitment strategies such as in-person events and social media campaigns.
· Advise and assist in the development and coordination of new recruiting opportunities.
· Manage an allowed budget to introduce the Butler’s Pantry employer brand to untapped potential employee bases.
· Work with Butler’s Pantry Marketing Department to design and create effective recruiting collateral.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Completion of a High School Diploma. In pursuit of or having recently completed a college degree in Human Resources, Communication or other closely related degree . Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, recruitment, or equivalent preferred.
This position requires the following competencies for success:
- Sound understanding of the recruitment process
- Highly charismatic with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Great networking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Mature judgment and ability to handle confidential information
- Self-motivated goal oriented, yet able and willing to take direction
- Ability to take personal ownership of the high-quality professional standard of the company
- High integrity and strong work ethic
