What are the responsibilities and job description for the E/S EMT position at Butterball?
Job Summary: To provide professional medical care to associates, conduct screenings, and promote wellness among associates.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Promote wellness among associates
- Treatment of associates for injuries/incidents per protocols
- Complete 1st notice reports for incidents
- Participate in incident investigations
- Follow notification procedures for injuries/incidents
- Conduct Drug and Alcohol tests per policy
- Conduct Post Offer pre-employment physicals
- Medical documentation data entry
- Filing
- Conduct Audiometric testing
- Inventory medical supplies as needed
- Participate in Health Fairs
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Working knowledge of medical equipment
- Clerical and computer skills, SAP, AS400, (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Excellent attendance and personnel record
- Excellent time management, organizational, written and verbal communication
- Self - motivated team player
Education & Experience:
- Current EMT Certification
- CPR/First Aid/AED
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned
