POSITION SUMMARY
The Store Manager is responsible for the complete oversight and management of operations at our Markets. This position also requires you to maintain a reasonable, professional and approachable presence. The ideal store manager handles sales and make sure to optimize profitability by overseeing the daily operation of the store. Is in charge of the training and motivation of the team.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Managers are responsible for daily operations at our Markets, reporting to the General Manager.
- Provide unparalleled customer service to all of our customers
- Achieve all budgeted food and labor cost objectives
- Demand quality and freshness with all products and presentations
- Ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, inventory, rotation of all merchandise
- Manage daily schedules and labor costs while meeting the business needs
- Follow all company cash handling procedures, vendor checks and petty cash payments.
- Resolve issues regarding customer complaints, inquiries and concerns.
- Maintenance and upkeep of a safe environment for our employees & customers.
- Follow and enforce company standards for uniforms, appearance and personal hygiene.
- Review vendor services, analyze current pricing structure & make necessary adjustments
- Create and implement product order guides and schedules for each department
- Participate in weekly manager meetings, review schedules. address any needs or issues
- Check that all employees are following the mandated health and sanitation codes
- Product placement, quality control and presentation throughout the Market
- Display and enforce a harassment free working environment
- Training and understanding of all reporting systems for ECRS point of sale
- Oversee the opening and closing procedures at the Market are being followed daily
- Develop weekly maintenance & cleaning schedules for the facilities & equipment
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years in a fast-paced specialty food or Super market industry Leadership role
- Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel) and experience with Google Drive
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures, cashier accountability and deposit control
- Knowledge of inventory management
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Effective communication, listening, verbal, and written skills with coworkers and customers
- Knowledge and experience complying with NYS Department of Agriculture regulations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time, ascending and descending stairs
- NYC Food Handlers Certification or SERV Safe Certification
