Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at the Lebanon, TN warehouse. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and driving sales initiatives, fostering strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets in alignment with the company's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer base and achieve sales objectives within the assigned territory.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to develop promotional strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare sales reports, and present findings to upper management.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations for the sales team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales management within the food distribution or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed
