What you will do
- Prepare and provide comprehensive financial updates by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team Assist in the execution of the month-end close, account reconciliations and maintenance of journal entry logs
- Lead all financial statement review and audit process Work closely with external tax and audit partners, review and submit all documents and requirements
- Prepare tax research, planning, compliance, and documentation required for tax filings and tax audits
- Prepare technical memorandum based on GAAP guideline. Ensure that all accounting departmental records are accurate and well organized
- Review and assist in employee payroll processing, maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development
What makes you qualified
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
- 10 years proven accounting experience Working knowledge of accounting law and regulatory standards (GAAP)
- Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis
- Proven payroll experience, with a focus on streamlining accounting processes
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting
- CPA highly preferred
