  • Lead a team of producers creating content for YouTube, Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
  • Provide creative notes on your videos and other team members videos.
  • Stay in the know about what's trending online in the Asian community and successfully iterate off that content.
  • Collaborate with the team to grow A*POP's reach and audience.
  • Identify new voices within the community to collaborate with on a monthly basis.
  • Help manage Freelance video producer contributions to the channel by approving concepts, giving notes, and packaging final deliverables.
  • Work with a production manager on budget, paperwork and logistics for your videos.

You Have

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and the entire CC suite
  • Are comfortable with most video codecs and formats
  • Ability to manage multiple projects throughout the various stages of production
  • Extremely knowledgeable about all social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram and Youtube

  • Great communication skills and can give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment
  • Meticulous, technical, organized, and creative at the same time
  • Experience behind a camera and knowledge of lighting and sound equipment
  • Intersectional and mindful with your storytelling. We want producers who celebrate inclusivity.

To Apply

  • No formal cover letters, please. Instead, include a few short paragraphs in your application explaining why you'd be a good fit for this position. What makes your voice standout and how will it serve our community and audience on Pero Like.
  • We'd also like you to share 2 A*POP videos that performed well on any platform and explain why you think they were successful.
  • Attach a resume.
  • Share 3-5 samples of videos you've produced.
