Join our growing team on its mission to transform access to renewable energy. As an Operations Analyst, you’ll learn all about the solar industry and how it operates in the Northeast while providing service to our Community Solar customers and partners. 

In this role, you will be exposed to the entire range of Community Solar activities, from sales support, to customer onboarding, to billing. Daily activities will include customer support case resolution, responding to incoming support calls, emails, and live chats, assisting sales partners with onboarding new customers, Community Solar subscription management, and client reporting. 

We are looking for candidates with exceptional character who are excited by the prospect of providing customers and sales partners with an outstanding service experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness are essential attributes for success in this position.


Requirements

  • Learn and become an expert in several different Community Solar programs across the US
  • Provide superior customer service via phone, email and live chat;
  • Resolve support cases related to customer and partner issues or inquiries;
  • Process applications and onboard new community solar customers; 
  • Perform data quality control to ensure accuracy of customer contracts; 
  • Work alongside Business Development Managers to provide top-notch customer service to BlueWave’s sales partners and assist with onboarding of new sales partners;
  • Coordinate communication between sales partners and/or customers and BlueWave’s Operations Team during the application process;
  • Assist with monthly billing servicing activities and recurring sales analysis and reporting to internal stakeholders; prepare internal and external documents and presentations;
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of operational and onboarding processes;
  • Support operations activities in all markets where BlueWave is or becomes active;
  • Maintain accurate records for prospects and customers in Salesforce;
  • Test new customer interfaces to ensure platform robustness

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Customer service or account management experience;
  • Familiarity with data analysis and data modeling in Excel and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred);
  • Proficiency with conventional business tools including Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc. 
  • Strong organizational and communications skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to think creatively to help streamline operations;
  • Customer service attitude and ability to be flexible
