ECU Test Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- Create ECU Test requirement documentation for ECU End of Line and validation parametric testers
- Provide technical support for ECU Test equipment developed internal to BWI and with third party suppliers
- Lead ECU Tester confirmation activities and ensure correct test limits
- Generate and maintain SOW for ECU Contract Manufacturing
- Support sourcing for ECU Contract Manufacturer
- Ensure appropriate manufacturing test coverage including inspection, ICT and EOL test
- Lead Cyber Security activities related to ECU manufacturing
- Provide manufacturing input during ECU design phase
- Support development of new ECU manufacturing processes
- Support ECU Manufacturing tooling development & debug
- Develop and support the release of BWI product drawings
Job Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering
- Experience supporting development of ECU EOL test equipment
- Electronics manufacturing knowledge and experience
- Ability to demonstrate technical problem solving skills / attention to detail
- Strong technical documentation and verbal communication skills
- Strong electronics analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, etc.)
- Familiar with computer applications (word, excel, powerpoint, etc.)
- Willingness to travel as required
Job Qualifications (Preferred):
- Experience with high volume automotive manufacturing a plus
- Experience with Automotive Electronics Design and Test techniques
- Experience with Automotive Cyber Security standards
