We are Hiring an HR Generalist!
Location: Rochester Hills, MI
Pay Rate: $26.00-32.00/hr Depending On Experience
Work Type: Hybrid - in office / work from home
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday - Full Time
Essential Job Functions:
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- New hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave
- Disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations
- Performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and moral
- Occupational health and safety
- Training and development.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Benefits administration to include;
- Claims resolution
- Change reporting
- Approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
- Monitor leave of absences
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
Qualification / Skills:
- 3 years of HR Generalist experience
- SPHR CP Certification desired
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field desired
- Benefits administration
- Reporting for 401K & other Benefits management
- Onboarding new employees
- New Hire paperwork - I9's, W2's etc.
- HRE Policies and Compliance
- Cloud based database experience - CRM/HRMS
