Senior Cyberspace Operations Planner

The Cyberspace Operations Planner will provide direct support to the JFHQ-DODIN Cyberspace Operations Group (COG) and associated Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs). The planner will provide expertise on development of operational plans and implementation of defensive hardening initiatives while collaborating with JFHQ-DODIN mission partners.
- Conduct Cyberspace planning activities for JFHQ-DODIN in support of CPT mission requirements, command plans, operations and exercises.
- Conduct planning for the deployment of CPTs across the DODIN.
- Synchronize Operational Plans (OPLANs), Operational Orders (OPORDs), Contingency Plans (CONPLANs), and supporting plans' development. Prepares intelligence estimates and annexes for inclusion into OPLANs, OPORDs, CONPLANs, and supporting plans.
- Review and provide input on strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, strategic operational analysis reports, strategic and operational policy reports, DoD directives and guidance, and other documentation supporting strategic operations research, analysis, and policy development.
- Participate in Joint Planning Groups (JPGs), Operational Planning Groups (OPGs) and Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) .
- Support the conduct of deliberate and contingency planning, functional plan validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with higher headquarters, components, DoD, and USG
- Maintain awareness of USCYBERCOM / JFHQ-DODIN directives, orders, alerts, and messages and de-conflict with strategic plans.
- Maintain awareness of DODIN Operations and DCO IDM missions
- Effectively communicate (written and oral) implementation plans to senior leaders
- 8 years' experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing plans that receive input from multiple units, and devising a final plan.
- Experience in COA development and analysis
- Knowledge of the Military Adaptive Planning Process
- Experience with Joint Operational Planning Process
- JPME Level II
- Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at IAT or IAM Level 1
- Experience with Cyber Protection Team (CPT) mission planning and execution
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligible for C/I Polygraph
