What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roofer position at Byrom Roofing?
Responsibilities:
- Inspect building roof systems, develop and implement maintenance programs.
- Perform installation and repairs on: Shingles, Tile, Metal, Coatings, Single Ply, Torch
- Start and finish a complete roof installation of any of the above materials.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Adhere to safety rules, regulations, installation manuals, instructions and building codes.
- Must be comfortable climbing/working on ladders from varying heights.
- Must have a valid drivers license, a good driving record and reliable transportation.
Skills:
- Work along-side and effectively communicate with other men.
-Ability to operate equipment, vehicles, various construction related hand tools, ladders, compressors, nail guns etc.
- Ability to maintain hand and power tools, work from drawings and blueprints, create rough sketches of jobs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting, bending and stooping as required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic ability to read and write, perform basic calculations of materials and job-related equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour
