This position is exempt from the Service Contract Act Wage Determination Registry.
The hourly pay rate for this position is $ 43.00.

Service  Contract Act, or SCA, position pay rates are determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.

  • Upon completion of six (6) months of employment, the selected candidate can expect an annual salary between $85,000 and $100,000, based on experience, as a permanent full-time employee with the federal contractor.  (Salary and benefits determined by federal contract personnel.) 
     
Period of Performance: 

This is an in office/ on site position. 

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 40-hour work week (1920 hours per year) with the exception of 11 federal holidays

Travel:  Some local travel may be required from time to time, with prior notification

Project Manager
Qualifications: 
 
  • Undergraduate degree required
    • Law degree, advanced technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree preferred
  • Substantial significant experience may in some cases be substituted for degree requirement
 
  • At least four (4) years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience on major litigation support projects, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys
 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing and e-Discovery support activities
 
  • Requires expert knowledge of litigation support; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills. Must be able to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing those needs
 
  • Requires knowledge of the government's data processing environment in which the work is to be performed, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as but not limited to Oracle, Relativity or other document review platform, and Trial Director
 
  • Familiarity with Electronically Stored Information tools and knowledge of e-Discovery procedures and resources required. Should be an expert user of the government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware and document review platforms

  • Law degree, advanced technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree preferred

Project Manager
Responsibilities/Duties:

Tax Division, U.S. Dept. of Justice  needs onsite contract personnel to supplement legal services and support the case closures.
  • Support includes, performing legal support/research/review/analysis,
providing clerical support, providing support through reviewing case files for long term
value, data entry, scanning/printing/copying paper files

Project Manager
- The Project Manager is the overall lead on the project and makes sure that the project is on schedule and running efficiently
  • Frequent contact with the Contracting Officer Representative, government managers and agency staff
  • Responsible for planning and managing all support for the project, including monitoring workflow, progress reporting, identifying and assigning staff, tracking, coordinating technical/data entry, and obtaining other required resources
  • Performs an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work delivered on time
  • Ensures that proper security is maintained regarding project materials, in accordance with Department security procedures
  • Work with the Supervisory Paralegal to identify the cases to be withdrawn and sent to 4CON using the Archives and Records Centers Information System (ARCIS) software
