Job Title: Sheet Loader
Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Sheet Loader is responsible for efficiently and safely loading various types of sheets onto machines, and equipment. This role involves the careful handling of sheets, ensuring they are positioned correctly, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Load sheets, materials, or products onto machines, conveyors, or vehicles as per established procedures.
2. Ensure proper alignment and positioning of sheets to prevent jams or malfunctions.
3. Monitor equipment operation to prevent overloading or material blockages.
4. Assist in unloading sheets or materials as required.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning up spills and removing debris.
6. Follow procedure guidelines and adhere to the safety guidelines stated by Abrapower.
7. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including quality standards and deadlines.
9. May be required to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (if trained and certified).
Qualifications: •
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions and follow established procedures.
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and willingness to adhere to them.
- Forklift or other relevant equipment certification may be required.
Working Conditions:
- This role typically involves standing for extended periods and may require heavy lifting or physical exertion.
