What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life & Health Insurance Agent position at C&G Consulting Group?
$120,000 at plan commission
Responsibilities:- Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current
- Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations
- Assist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claims
- Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies
- Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales
- Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs
- Scheduling appointments utilizing warm leads
- Commission Based
- Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred
- Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders
- Valid insurance license required Or Willingness To Obtain
- If unlicensed, the agency will assist in bringing you through the licensing process and pay for your pre-licensing course
